Course Description

In this course, you will learn how to take your idea to impact and launch your startup. You will follow the Hult Prize Validate - Map - Recruit - Plan - Go Methodology, which has been tried and tested over the past 10 years and successfully trained more than one million students and launched tens of thousands of startup companies including Aspire Food Group, BuuPass and IMPCT Coffee.

Course Structure

This is an immersion based learning course where you will apply leading edge theory to your impact startup each week. We have 5 core modules, for which each follow our Learn - Apply - Mentor - Evaluate - Reward structure. Throughout the journey you will have a global community to support you and we will celebrate our progress together!

Ahmad Ashkar | HULT PRIZE TEAM

Mr. Ahmad Ashkar is the Founder and CEO of the Hult Prize Foundation – named in a TIME Magazine cover story featuring the top five ideas changing the world. The 2016 Esquire Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year, Ahmad has spent nearly a decade creating, launching and advising for-good, for-profit companies in more than 100 countries.


Riaz is a senior partner at EY and has over 35 years’ experience in global management, talent, technology consulting, change management, and auditing. He is currently working part-time, on strategic projects related to the future of work. He was included in the 2018 UK Part-Time Power List. He recently opened a free school in London, One Degree Academy.

As Campus Director for the Hult Prize Foundation, Mascha launched the first Hult Prize Competition at University College London, to enable university teams to develop and pitch start-up ideas to solve the world’s most pressing issues, with the support of mentors, expert judges and university academics.

What kind of courses do you offer?

Hult Prize Academy offers its world-class impact entrepreneur training and education as supplemental learning to its global college and university network. Our content enables young people to not just be entrepreneurs, but to be impact entrepreneurs and to accomplish all the goals they’ve set up to.

Our curriculum and delivery method will fill in the gaps which currently exist in 99.9 % of all colleges and universities around the world and will directly enable graduates to more effectively create and secure meaningful work.

Concepts around leadership, impact and the future of enterprise are vertically integrated into the learning content which will be optimized for rapid learning through various methods and approaches.

Why did we launch Hult Prize Academy

Hult Prize Academy is a response to the demand from our community to accelerate ideas into the marketplace, and as extension of our accelerator program. We’ve reacted and created a program to serve the needs of our community.

What time zone are HPA courses offered in?

All HPA courses work with the standard GMT timezone. Your class materials are released weekly on Saturday at 10:00AM GMT. Please note we have a number of online mentor hangouts, for which times will again be posted in GMT time zone.

How do you decide who wins an incentive
