The Hult Prize is a year-long program that challenges students to build for-profit startups that tackle global issues. Over five progressive phases, teams hone their ideas, receive mentorship, and compete to win $1M in seed funding.

STAGE 1 (September - February)
Qualifiers
Thousands of student entrepreneurs around the world pitch their business ideas on campus at their university or apply through the Open Application for a chance to advance.

STAGE 2 (March - May)
Nationals
Qualifying teams pitch at their country or territory’s national competition or participate in an equivalent online selection process.

STAGE 3 (June - July)
Digital Incubator
National winners and top online applicants access world-class mentors and resources that help them validate product-market fit, create proof of concepts, develop MVP’s, and set up go-to-market strategies.

STAGE 4 (August)
Global Accelerator
Top incubator startups receive a month of intensive mentorship at the historic Ashridge House in London with workshops, guidance from industry experts and opportunities to pitch to investors.

STAGE 5 (September)
Global Finals
Finalists pitch to an international panel of judges at the Global Finals for a chance to win $1M USD in funding to launch and scale their startup.
